History

The feet provide an even and deeper pressure on the body.....

This ancient Ayruvedic technique of massage, was developed by the Kalari Martial Artists of Kerala, south India more than 2,000 years ago.  It's traditional name   'CHAVUTTI  THIRUMAL'   literally means  'massage by foot pressure'  in the the local language of Malayalam.
It is a unique modality, as the feet are used to deliver the treatment.  The practitioner uses a  rope suspended above for balance and for weight distribution.  This allows for deep tension release and an evenly applied pressure to the whole body using long sweeping massage strokes from head to toe.
